16th Annual BirdFest & Bluegrass Celebration

October 3rd and 4th, 2015

The 2015 schedule of events is being planned currently. To get an idea of what usually happens during BirdFest & Bluegrass, you can check out the 2014 schedule of event on this website. Keep your eyes peeled for the 2015 event schedule to be posted in August of 2015.

In the Ridgefield Community Center and around Davis Park, we host the Birder’s Marketplace, a gathering of artists, craftspeople, and naturalists who celebrate the wildlife and nature in their works. We also have some food vendors to help feed the hungry crowds that gather. Scroll down to learn how to be a vendor at this year’s event.

Want to be a vendor at BirdFest & Bluegrass 2014?

BirdFest is our local celebration of the return of the Sandhill Cranes to the Refuge and of the natural and cultural wealth of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. There will be events going on in town all weekend: sandhill crane tours, guided nature and bird walks, children’s activities , kayak tours, Chinookan Plankhouse tours, and the Birders’ Marketplace, featuring artists who concentrate on wildlife and/or nature themes. Something for everyone!

Cost is $50 for an indoor space and no commission is taken – this is for an approximate space size of 8′ x 6′. We have a small number of 10′ x10′ spaces, and their cost is $100.

Birdfest attracts 3,000 – 5,000 people annually. We have a lot to celebrate, as this is our 14th annual festival. We expect this show to be extremely well-attended!
