DESCRIPTION:Lions Food Booth– Eleven days in August 3-13th– Clark County Fairgrounds\n\nThe Ridgefield Lions club has been a tremendous supporter of the Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge\, offering sponsorship as well as volunteer hours and providing vendor services at BirdFest. As a thank you to them\, the Friends like to offer some volunteer time to help them during their big events. \nVolunteers will work in short shifts manning the food booth at the Clark County Fair. \nFor more information\, or if you would like to sign up to help out\, just email contact@ridgefieldfriends.org!

DESCRIPTION:2017 Plankhouse 2nd Sunday Events\nThe Plankhouse will be open from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM on each of the following days. House tours\, kids activities\, and naturalist guided walks are included with every event. These events are free with refuge admission. Stop by any time between 12 and 4! \nCome experience a day featuring ancestral skills and indigenous knowledge!  Learn how to start a fire from scratch as well as many other activities! \nThis year we have the very special opportunity to host a suite of native artists from the Chinook Indian Nation and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde in the Plankhouse. \nPlease join Greg Robinson\, Greg Archuleta\, and Deven Robinson inside the Plankhouse for conversations and demonstrations on everything from carving and pigments to first foods. \nWe hope to see you there!
