We need to plant trees! Come help us plant trees for this Saturday work party, March 2nd, at Pierce NWR. Get your hands dirty doing something good at a Refuge usually closed to the public! Snacks and water and warm beverages will be provided, as well as gloves and tools. Dress for the weather and wear long pants and boots.
We will meet at the Steigerwald Lake NWR Office (the road on the left side of the highway going East, please turn with caution!) at 9:00am, and carpool to Pierce. We will have a lunch/snack break and have you back at your cars by 1:00pm. Arrive a few minutes early to sign paperwork, sign-up ahead of time to get your paperwork emailed to you.
