As we commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the nation, join us on an exploration of Ridgefield’s history. You will discover the industries, civic and educational institutions, and cultural forces that have made us who we are today. 1909 will begin your journey as you explore Ridgefield’s founding, learn about the organizations that feed hungry Ridgefield residents, and the little known stories of the Japanese farmers who were forcibly removed during World War II. Saturday, September 5, the last day of the museum, coincides with the 9th Annual Ridgefield Multicultural Festival, a free, family-friendly, fun-filled celebration of music, dance, food, crafts, and games.
