BirdFest Vendors

In the Ridgefield Community Center and around Davis Park, we host the Birder’s Marketplace, a gathering of artists, craftspeople, and naturalists who celebrate the wildlife and nature in their works. We also have some food vendors to help feed the hungry crowds that gather. Scroll down to learn how to be a vendor at this year’s event.

Want to be a vendor at BirdFest & Bluegrass 2017?

BirdFest is our local celebration of the return of the Sandhill Cranes to the Refuge and of the natural and cultural wealth of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. There will be events going on in town all weekend: Sandhill Crane tours, guided nature and bird walks, children’s activities, kayak tours, Chinookan Plankhouse tours, naturalist workshops, and the Birder’s Marketplace, featuring artists who concentrate on wildlife and/or nature themes. BirdFest attracts 3,000 – 5,000 people annually. We have a lot to celebrate, as this is our 18th annual festival. We expect this show to be extremely well-attended!

Cost for vendors covers both days of the event, no refunds even in the case of rain.

Vendors are asked to stay and help clean up the Community Center after the show, which includes sweeping the floors, shaking out the rugs, and putting back the tables and chairs to where they were before the show. It should not take long with all of us helping.

ALL Vendors shall conduct business in accordance with all laws and highest standards of business ethics. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED in the Community Center, except for guide dogs.

You will be assigned a space by the Friends of the Ridgefield NWR. The earlier you submit your contract, the better your chance of obtaining a space. Please call with any questions.

We look forward to working with you!
