BirdFest is our local celebration of the return of the Sandhill Cranes to the Refuge and of the natural and cultural wealth of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. There will be events going on in town all weekend: Sandhill Crane tours, guided nature and bird walks, children’s activities, kayak tours, Chinookan Plankhouse tours, naturalist workshops, and the Birder’s Marketplace, featuring artists who concentrate on wildlife and/or nature themes. BirdFest attracts 3,000 – 5,000 people annually. We have a lot to celebrate, as this is our 18th annual festival. We expect this show to be extremely well-attended!
Cost for vendors covers both days of the event, no refunds even in the case of rain.
* Items sold must be handmade/artisan/in line with refuge themes. Commercial vendors such as Amway, Avon, or Scentsy are allowed in the outside vendor space.
*Food and all other vendors welcome in outside vendor space
Deadline for space reservation is September 1st, 2017
Vendors are asked to stay and help clean up the Community Center after the show, which includes sweeping the floors, shaking out the rugs, and putting back the tables and chairs to where they were before the show. It should not take long with all of us helping.
ALL Vendors shall conduct business in accordance with all laws and highest standards of business ethics. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED in the Community Center, except for guide dogs.
You will be assigned a space by the Friends of the Ridgefield NWR. The earlier you submit your contract, the better your chance of obtaining a space. Please call with any questions.
We look forward to working with you!
