*Carty Construction Updates*

The last concrete pour to reconnect the parking lot to the pedestrian bridge will happen on 9/19.  The closure will extend until 9/23 to allow curing time of the cement.

The Carty Unit remains open during this concrete pour,  but access will be detoured from the parking lot to the sidewalks south along Main Ave. to the Headquarters Trail that connects to the pedestrian bridge.

2. The Carty Unit and Parking Lot will be closed at the entrance gate from dawn 9/27 to dawn 9/30. The new parking lots and the drop-off loop will be asphalted on Friday, 9/27. To allow full cure and maximum product lifespan, the Carty Unit will be closed at the entrance gate from dawn 9/27 to dawn 9/30.

No public vehicle access (the trails will remain open for walk-in visitation).

During both closures, we recommend visitors enter via the Port’s Carty Lake Trail entrance or Headquarters Trail. The River ‘S’ Unit and Kiwa trail will be open for all users.
