The Community Nature Center dream is almost a reality! With a completion date det for the spring of 2026, the Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge need the community’s help to cross the finish line and outfit this empty building with everything people need to safely and accessibly engage with nature.
One step at a time, we plan to work with our community to fund and outfit the last of what is needed to finish the Community Nature Center at Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. The money we raise and the work we do will creating spaces for families to rest and engage with nature in safe and accessible ways both outdoors and inside, and outfit a classroom space for students to apply what they learn outside, and so much more.
